How do I register?
To play Grand Prix Master you have to register. Go to the 'Home' page and click 'Sign up'. You can register with your email address, or using Facebook or Google. Once you have entered your data, you will receive an email with an activation link. If you open this link your registration is complete and you can get started! When using Facebook or Google you will not receive the activation email!

Do I have to pay to play Grand Prix Master?
Absolutely NOT! We only require you to be an enthusiast F1 fan to play for 100% FREE!

How do I login?
On the 'Home' page and on top of each screen you find the 'Login' button. If you click here you come into the login screen.

I lost my password, what to do?
Using the button 'Login' you will find the link 'Forgot Password'. If you click here you go to the password screen. If you fill in your email address, then a new password will be sent.

How can I change my email address?
If you are logged in you will find a link at the top right with 'Profile' followed by 'your Grand Prix Master account'. Here you will find the information you have provided at registration. Under 'Change Email Address', you can specify a different address.

How can I change my team name?
If you are logged in you will find a link at the top right with 'Profile' followed by 'your Grand Prix Master'. Here you will find the information you have provided at registration. Under 'Change Team Name', you can specify a different team name.

How can I change my password?
If you are logged in you will find a link at the top right with 'Profile' followed by 'your Grand Prix Master'. Here you will find the information you have provided at registration. Under 'Change Password', you can specify a different password.
Assembling your team
How do I assemble my team?
Once you have registered, log in and go to the 'Change Line-up' page to make modifications to the team. Choose the the chassis, the motor and the driver to complete your team.

Are there rules my lineup is bound to?
You choose your components from the racing teams of Formula 1. In total, you choose six parts including 2 drivers, 2 motors and 2 chassis. Of each squad, you may choose two components, the only requirement is that you compose a unique driver and your team up to 2 parts / driver of one squad may be. Your only concern is your budget!

When are new components/drivers added to the game?
Parts and/or drivers who come into play during the game at one of the teams will be added as soon as possible. The addition of parts an/or drivers will be based on information from www.formula1.com. The administrators of Grand Prix Master will make the final decision.
Changes
What happens if a driver stops racing?
If a driver stops racing and he is not replaced by another driver, he will be marked as inactive. It is no longer possible to achieve points with him. Of course the best solution is to change your line-up to include another driver!

What happens if a driver leaves for another racing team in Formula 1?
If a driver leaves for another team within Formula 1 the driver remains active and can achieve points for his new racing team.

Until when can I change the line-up of my team?
Each round you may change the line-up of your team. This is possible up until 5 minutes before the start of the qualification. If the weekend has a sprint race, then you can change your lineup up until 5 minutes to the start of the qualification for the race on Friday. After this, changing your line-up will not be possible. The database remains closed during the race weekend. Corrections to the race results (disqualifications or other changes to the positions of the drivers) are made up while the database is closed. As of Monday morning, you can change your team again.
Price increase/decrease
What happens with the price of the drivers, motors and chassis?
Prices of drivers, motors and chassis' depend on theit performance during the qualification and the race. We've created an algorithm to calculate the new prices every round. The algorithm is based on the following principle: if a driver performs better than we should expect, based on the current price he has, then the driver will become more expensive. If a driver performs less well, then the driver will become cheaper.

Here are a few examples to show how the algorithm works, assume Ricciardo achieved the 7th position based on the total number of points he achieved on GrandPrix Master. Ricciardo is the 6th most expensive driver.
- - Say Ricciardo performs this well in a race that he jumps from the 7th position to the 1st position based on the total number of points he achieved. His price in this situation will become more expensive.
- - Say Ricciardo achieves the 1st position in the qualification and the race, however based on the total number of points he achieved on Grand Prix Master he still retains the 7th position. In this situation his price will remain about the same. We think that the total number of points a driver has achieved is more important than doing well just once.
- - Say Ricciardo does not finish. He jumps from the 7th position to the 13th position. His price will become cheaper in this situation.

Rules
Team composition
Using the available starting budget of 4 million dollars you can put team together which should consist of two drivers, two engines and two chassis. You cannot use a driver twice in your line, but this is indeed possible for the chassis and engines. The other rule is that you can only use 2 parts from one F1 team in your lineup. For example, a driver, chassis and engine from Red Bull would count as 3 parts from one team and therefore would not be allowed.

Points
For different events in the qualification (= QUA.) and the race you can earn (penalty) points. The point distribution is as follows:

For the qualification, we use the results of the qualification itself, we do not use the results of the starting grid of the race! So if a driver achieves position 5 during qualification, but for some reason is put back 3 positions on the starting grid of the race, we the use 'position 5' in our scoring
Joker
You can put a joker on a component or driver. Joker provides a bonus of 100% on the achievements of the selected item or selected driver. In total, your team has access to a total of 6 jokers during the one season. Mind you: we advise not to spend them all in the first round, but the choice is up to you.
Prediction
Each race weekend you can make a prediction of the 1st place in the qualification, 1st place in the race and the fastest lap in the race. For each correct prediction you get 50 points. The results displayed on the site is the source for the results.
Changing your lineup
As mentioned, a team consists of two drivers, two engines and two chassis. You can change these unlimitedly during each round.
Salary
Like a racing team manager you will get a salary at Grand Prix Master. Your salary consists of a fixed salary and a bonus salary. Your fixed salary is $ 1,000,000 per round. In addition, you also get a bonus salary for the achievements of your team. Per point scored, you get a sum of $ 5,000. So if you got 250 points, you will get $ 2,250,000 ($ 1.000.000 + $ 1.250.000).

If you register after the start of the first race you do get the base salary for the missed rounds. So if you subscribe at round 3, you budget will be raised by $ 3.000.000,-.

Value drivers, engines and Chassis
With the thought that we wanted to create and have made a challenging game, we opted for the approach to keep the value of the drivers, engines and chassis challenging. The combination of setting up 2 cars, the limited budget and the values of the drivers, engines and chassis' make the game unique and challenging.

In the beginning of the season you can not buy high-performing parts, this will be possible later in the season. In addition, you should consider whether you spend all your money on one expensive driver, engine or chassis or whether you divide the money between "middle-class" drivers, engines or chassis.

When selling the driver, engine or chassis the current value will be maintained, so the sales price of the driver, engine or chassis will therefore depend on the market value and not on the purchase value. This is in contrast with previous years.

Equal scores
When two Grand Prix Masters have an equal score, we first take into account which Grand Prix Master has the cheapest lineup. The Grand Prix Master with the cheapest lineup wins! If the cost of the lineup is the same, we look at which Grand Prix Master registered earlier at our website will have an advantage.

Use forum
Grand Prix Master gives the possibility to create messages in a subleague in the subleague, assuming that the users are nice to each other. The responsibility and content of the messages are the responsibility of the admin of the subleague. Grand Prix Master dissociates itself from foul language use and/or abuse of the subleague and is not responsible in any way.
